Co-founder, TNDM.ai
From leading Marines to transforming operations, I’ve built my career around finding better ways forward. Now I’m exploring where AI can take us next.
I’ve spent most of my career trying to make work better by building teams, fixing broken processes, and finding smarter ways to get things done. AI is the newest tool in that journey. I’m learning it by building with it, testing what works, and sharing what I learn along the way.

AI Isn’t Coming for Your Job—It’s Coming for Your SOPs
If you’ve ever built a standard operating procedure (SOP), only to explain it again ten times that week, you’re not alone.
I didn't set out to run an AI company. My career started in the Marine Corps, where I served with 2D Intelligence Battalion and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the military, a degree in Criminal Justice led me into the background screening industry — and unexpectedly, into operations.
I spent the next decade at SJV & Associates and InformData, eventually leading a large operations team through significant growth and transformation. Along the way, while earning my master's in Information Systems at Auburn University, I got my first exposure to AI — IBM Watson in a virtual lab — and started exploring how technology could improve the way we worked. That curiosity carried into a range of digital transformation projects, from implementing ticketing systems and business process automation to building an entire suite of Domo dashboards myself during the InformData merger. The technology kept me interested, but making things work better is what gave me purpose: developing people, improving processes, and transforming businesses.
Years after my first exposure to AI, I had the opportunity to apply that curiosity to AI again, at a much bigger scale. One of our early projects used AI to monitor high-volume courts for closures, outages, and policy changes. Our first attempt tried to solve too much. Once we narrowed the scope and focused the AI on the information that mattered most, alert and response times dropped by more than half. It reinforced a principle that still shapes how I build today: start small, fail safe, learn, then scale.
After leaving InformData, I went deeper — earning an AI certificate from MIT, continuing my education through courses from Vanderbilt, and, more importantly, building with it. Eventually, my former boss and longtime mentor, Bill Wilder, asked me to help turn what we were learning into a company. That became TNDM.
Today, TNDM helps businesses solve the small operational problems that quietly consume enormous amounts of time. We take existing processes, understand how the work actually gets done, and build AI agents and agentic workflows that make them faster, more consistent, and easier to scale.
I've spent most of my career building better ways to work. AI has changed the tools, but not the philosophy: solve a real problem, prove that it works, and build from there.
This is my first time as an entrepreneur, and I'm still learning every day. My wife, Paige, gave me the confidence to take the leap, and my faith gives me perspective when the path isn't always clear. I believe God has a plan for me — I just wish sometimes He'd share a little more of the timing and the details.
If something here sparked an idea, or you're curious where AI could make a difference in your own operations, let's talk. I'm always happy to compare notes, explore a problem, or see what we might build together.
